Investing Their Treasure: A December to Remember!
On Tuesday, December 3rd, more than 250 caring individuals made generous contributions to help transform the lives of children and families in crisis. Thanks to a few of our incredible 4KIDS partners, all donations were matched, up to $200,000! A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our lead matching partner, Moss Foundation, as well as Fleet Advantage Foundation, Precision Metal Industries, Electric Lighting Agencies, the Crane Fund for Widows and Orphans, and an anonymous friend of 4KIDS for making this Giving Tuesday truly remarkable.
Elizabeth Gomez, Marketing Manager for Fleet Advantage, shared, "Thank you to the entire 4KIDS team for all the work you do for our community! We are thrilled to be able to help!"
We also surpassed our year-end fundraising goal, unlocking a $1,000,000 match! This truly has been a landmark year for giving, and it would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of our partners and their unwavering commitment to supporting the most vulnerable members of our community. We are deeply grateful for their continued trust and passion to make a difference in the lives of children and families in crisis.

Investing Their Time: Christmas Cheer Home Makeover
As young men and women age out of foster care at 18, many find themselves without a safe place to go. Without the necessary skills and resources, these young adults often struggle to navigate life on their own. 4KIDS Transitional Independent Living, also known as TIL 2:25, is dedicated to helping these young people transition from foster care to independent adulthood.
During this time, residents have the opportunity to complete their GED, pursue further education, gain work experience, attend life skills workshops, and develop financial responsibility. Throughout their journey, they are supported by a caring team of resident advisors, mentors, and fellow participants, all committed to their success.
At Christmastime, some amazing 4KIDS Partners volunteered their time to decorate our Transitional Independent Living (TIL) homes. We want to thank the incredible employees of Virtuox, Broten Garage Door, SCS Engineering for spending a day brightening these homes with Christmas Spirit and joy for the holidays. Many of these young adults never had the chance to experience the full magic of Christmas, receive gifts, or celebrate in a warm home environment, but thanks to the generosity of compassionate businesses, this season became a beautiful one for these men and women.

Investing Their Talent: Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital
At 4KIDS, our Transitional Independent Living (TIL) and His Caring Place (HCP) programs hold great importance as they provide at-risk young adults and young moms with a safe environment surrounded by a supportive community to transition into adulthood well. These programs equip them with essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning, resume building, parenting skills, and helping them gain the foundational tools they need to lead successful, fulfilling lives. Recently, a panel of residents from both programs came together to collectively use their voices, ideas, and experiences to brainstorm ways to better serve both current and future residents. They offer valuable insights on topics they'd like to see covered in Life Skills Classes and even suggest interactive activities, like money management games to enhance learning. We are incredibly grateful to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital for being the Presenting Sponsor of our Life Skills Classes, which take place on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6pm at our 4KIDS Broward office.

Save The Date: Culinary Takeoff: Fueling Futures for Kids - Friday, April 11 |
Last year was the inaugural Culinary Takeoff event at Banyan Air Service in Fort Lauderdale where guests savored a delicious array of tapas and treats, enjoyed live jazz music, and came together to support local children and families in need.
