Church Partner Spotlight: Discovery Church of Port St. Lucie

We want to take a moment to recognize and express our gratitude to Discovery Church of Port St. Lucie for their incredible involvement with 4KIDS and impact over the past quarter. This church has truly been a standout in spreading the word about 4KIDS, even sharing our materials at their Trunk or Treat event, which drew over 500 attendees! As a result, hundreds of people were introduced to the vital work we do and how we are transforming the lives of vulnerable children in crisis.

In November, Discovery Church went above and beyond by supporting our Gift of Hope Toy Drive and naming 4KIDS as their Partner of the Month. They also ensured our mission was front and center by displaying slides throughout their service for their entire congregation to see! We firmly believe that the Church is the answer to the foster care crisis, and it’s incredibly encouraging to see a church so dedicated to promoting, inspiring, and empowering their members to get involved.

Business Partner Spotlight: RJM Custom Homes

Recently, RJM Custom Homes collected over 100 new blankets for 4KIDS and the families we serve here in the Treasure Coast. This company, which specializes building custom homes that reflect each family’s unique vision, wanted to generously bless the kids in this community. 

RJM is dedicated to giving back and being a positive force in the community we serve. One specific employee on their team, Sharon Fleming, has a heart for children in the foster care system shaped by her own experience as a foster parent and adoptive mom. She knows firsthand the importance of offering love, comfort, and security to children during uncertain times. Her passion inspired RJM to launch the blanket drive—because something as simple as a warm, cozy blanket can bring a sense of care and belonging to a child who needs it most. Sharon’s compassion and dedication continue to be an inspiration to her entire team at RJM Custom Homes. 

We are incredibly grateful for the generous support of partners like RJM, who go above and beyond to ensure our kids and families feel loved and cared for. It’s a true blessing to work with partners who share such a deep passion for making a difference.
