Church Partner Spotlight: Destiny Church and Next Level Church 

In just three short years, the SWFL region of 4KIDS has developed some deep and committed relationships with churches, and without these churches, it would be impossible for 4KIDS to serve children in crisis in the way that we do. We want to thank two churches for their recent involvement in two incredible events that happened over the last few months!

In October, 4KIDS hosted a fundraising event called A Night of Advocacy. Destiny Church, a church that partnered with us early on in our expansion, not only stepped up by offering their facility for the event, they were also eager to help in any way that they could. Because of their generosity, we were able to welcome motivational speaker Peter Mutabazi to share about his first-hand experiences with fostering and encourage everyone in the audience to get involved, and make an imprint for the most vulnerable in this community! 

Gail Nagy, Destiny’s worship pastor and a foster/adoptive parent herself, noted, “Here at Destiny Church, we have a huge heart for foster care. Members of our staff and congregations have fostered and adopted. We have been so blessed to add to our families whether it be temporarily or permanently. We are grateful for 4KIDS and all that they are doing to provide Christ Centered foster families to children in our area.”

Our other memorable event was our Foster & Adoptive Family Christmas Party in December. Our Christmas Party has tripled in size over the past three years, and we really lean on our volunteers during these festive events, so we were thrilled when Next Level Church heard the need and offered immense support! They opened up their facility and supplied all of the volunteers. One of the volunteers even took it upon himself to have a little pop-up toy shop and provided a gift for every one of our kiddos to pick out a gift for themselves. “It is our joy and honor to host the 4KIDS Christmas party and to serve your incredible families. We believe that we’re called to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our city and to make a Kingdom impact. It’s a privilege to stand alongside you in the life-changing work you do every day, bringing hope and love to children and families across SWFL, thank you for allowing us to be a part it,” stated Sarah Lau, Next Steps Director East Location.

Business Partner Spotlight: Potter Trinity, Motivated by Love Ministries, and State Insurance USA

We were fortunate to have incredible Business Partners who rallied behind us, sponsoring and helping us create unforgettable experiences for two impactful events: our Night of Advocacy and the Foster & Adoptive Family Christmas Party!

Our Annual Foster & Adoptive Family Christmas Party also brought joy to 150 children and adults, creating lasting memories and holiday cheer. This heartwarming celebration was made possible by our sponsor, State Insurance USA.
