4KIDS Volunteers are critical to the work we do here at 4KIDS. They are a vital source of encouragement and practical help for the children, young adults, and foster families we serve, as well as administrative support for our staff. 4KIDS has two types of volunteers:
4MOST Volunteers provide general support at our events, in our programs, and/or foster homes. 4MOST Volunteers do not need to go through a clearance process or provide references.
4FRONT Volunteers provide specialized support and commit to serving at least monthly for one year. For the safety and confidentiality of the children and families we serve, interested individuals must undergo a background screening with fingerprinting and obtain a church leader and personal references.
Want to learn more? Click on any of the options below to explore our volunteer opportunities so you can let us know where & how you would like to serve!
Please note, we have volunteer opportunities only in the Florida counties in which 4KIDS serves.
(His Caring Place and Transitional Independent Living program homes are currently only located in Broward County.)
Volunteers may put together a team of 6-15 volunteers from their local church, civic group, or workplace to conduct a service project which may include a deep clean, any additional yard maintenance or meeting general handyman needs for one or more of our 4KIDS homes in order to keep them well-maintained and a welcoming home for children, teens and young people who have aged out of foster care.
If you have questions please contact the Volunteer Department at Volunteer@4KIDS.us.
