God desires that His church would rise up and be the solution to a world that needs Him. FAM exists to be just that. James 1:27 tells us specifically how we, the Church, can be the answer—caring for the orphan. Children in foster care need a loving community around them and FAM equips volunteers to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Much like extended family, FAM is a team of 4-8 committed volunteers who support a foster family through prayer and service. Volunteers offer support in one or more of the following ways:

• Consistent Prayer
• Bringing meals
• Providing childcare
• Transporting children to appointments
• Mentoring or tutoring children
• Coordinating volunteers for a foster family
• Supplying or sourcing practical needs – eg. bunk beds, strollers, car seats, clothing…
