EPIC is a live, interactive, and engaging one-day virtual training designed to equip caregivers, parents, foster parents, adoptive parents, and helping professionals with practical, trauma-informed tools to support children who have experienced adversity.

This newly updated and consolidated version of our previous EPIC training brings together the most impactful concepts, strategies, and interventions into a streamlined learning experience, integrating the most important component—faith—throughout the framework. Participants will gain a strong foundation in trauma-informed care while learning practical tools they can begin using immediately.

Throughout the training, you will learn to see the whole child—emotional, physical, intellectual, and character—as God intended, and discover how healing happens through safe, connected relationships and intentional caregiving. The training explores foundational topics including the impact of trauma on the brain and body, attachment, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and trust-based interventions that promote healing and resilience.
